Duties & Responsibilities:
Position is responsible for the plasma inventory management and production planning at the Biomat City of Industry Plasma Logistics center.

● Establishes production schedules for Plasma Unit (PU) clearing and Plasma Lot (PL) consolidation related to plasma manufacturing pool deliveries to GBI and IG.

● Analyzes inventory postions by plasma type versus targets

● Monitors on-hand plasma inventory for obsolescent, expired and slow moving inventory.

● Frequently communicates with material handling and clearing counterparts within GPO COI Operations to prodcution/clearing schedules under consideration of manufacturing demand, inventory, and labor considerations.

● Frequently communicates with planning counterparts within GBI and IG manufacturing operations to review plasma requirements and determine optimized plasma delivery and utilization schedules taking plasma types, suppliers, again etc. into consideration.

● Frequently communicates with counterparts at GPO NC plasma logistics center on plasma inventory management, balancing and planning aspects with the objective of maintaining optimized inventory levels across US plasma logistics centers.

● Act as power user for the SGP application, with focus on plasma planning module. Jointly work with IT team as well as NC/CA team members from plasma handling, clearing, quality assurance on ongoing system enhancements.

● Performs research which substantiates disposition of plasma inventory in blocked inventory status to either be dispositioned for manufactuirng use, downgrade to diagnostic grade or write-off.
